Eid-ul
Adha is an occasion for us to remember the sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim made
in obedience to the will of God. It is a festival celebrated among Muslims
worldwide. Islam means peace and submission to the will of God. The spirit of
the Eid al-Adha would help them cherish the freedoms won through much
sacrifice.
Eid
ul-Adha or Eidul Azha coincides with the completion of the annual holy
pilgrimage Hajj. Muslims living in Sri Lanka today enjoy the freedoms of
religious belief, worship and practice. Laksala extends greetings to the Islamic
